Overview

The SVP Flea Market is your chance to sell games you no longer play and discover great deals for your own collection. This year’s process is fully digital: sellers use our embedded intake form to generate their seller ID, item numbers, printable tags, and game lists automatically.


To ensure a smooth experience during the initial rush, a limit of 5 items per person applies at opening. This limit is lifted once traffic stabilizes.


The Flea Market uses a Dutch Auction (descending price) format. Sellers set both a Starting Price and a Dutch Price. At the Dutch price change time, all buyers will briefly exit and re‑enter to ensure fairness.

FEES AND POLICIES

  • Cost to enter: Free
  • Payment: Cash only
  • Sales Fee: SVP retains 10% of total sales per seller (rounded up)
  • All sales are final.
  • SVP is not responsible for game completeness, missing components, or lost/stolen items.
  • All unsold games must be picked up by 3:00 PM.
  • Items not collected by 3 PM are forfeited.

All sellers must use the embedded Flea Market Intake Form.

The form collects:

  • Seller Name (Ex. Mandi Hutchinson)
  • Seller ID
    • First 2 letters of first name + first 2 letters of last name (Ex. MAHU)
  • Email
  • Cell Phone
  • Game Title
  • Item Number (auto‑generated after Seller ID is created)
    • Seller ID + incremental number (e.g., MAHU01, MAHU02)
  • Start Price
  • Dutch Price
  • Notes (condition, missing pieces, expansions, legacy status)

System Features

The intake system allows sellers to:

  • Save a draft and return later
  • Export their full item list as CSV
  • Print or save as PDF their game list
  • Print or save as PDF their item tags

After submission, the system automatically generates:

  • Printable item tags
  • Printable seller game list
  • A digital copy for volunteers

2. Prepare Your Games

Before drop‑off:

  • Print your tags and game list
  • Attach each tag to the upper right corner of the game box
    • Painter’s tape recommended
  • Ensure all components are present
    • Missing pieces must be noted in the Notes field
    • Legacy games must indicate unplayed or number of plays

3. Drop-Off

Friday, April 2nd, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (no exceptions)

Volunteers will:

  1. Take a copy of your Game List
  2. Look up your Seller ID or name
  3. Confirm your printed tags match your digital entries
  4. Verify condition notes
  5. Mark items as Received
  6. Place games on Flea Market tables by category

Pickup

  • Saturday, April 3rd, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
  • Sellers must retrieve unsold games during this window.
  • Items not collected by 3:00 PM are forfeited.
