S’il Vous Play! is Ottawa’s community‑driven tabletop gaming convention — a joyful, inclusive, and welcoming space where players, families, creators, and fans come together to celebrate the love of games. Founded by local organizers and supported by passionate volunteers, SVP is built on connection, creativity, and play.
Our event brings together board gamers of all ages and experience levels for a weekend filled with open gaming, demos, special events, vendors, exhibitors, and community programming. Whether you’re discovering your first modern board game or diving deep into your favourite hobby, SVP is designed to make you feel at home.
S’il Vous Play! exists to create welcoming, inclusive, and joyful tabletop gaming experiences that bring people together. We foster community, celebrate creativity, and provide safe, accessible spaces where players of all ages and backgrounds can connect, learn, and have fun.
These values apply to attendees, volunteers, exhibitors, vendors, sponsors, and organizers alike.
SVP is designed to be accessible, friendly, and easy to navigate — whether you’re a seasoned gamer or brand new to the hobby.
S’il Vous Play! is more than a convention — it’s a growing community of players, volunteers, creators, and partners who share a passion for tabletop gaming. We believe in building spaces where people can connect, discover new experiences, and feel supported.
Our volunteers, partners, and attendees help shape the event each year, making SVP a collaborative celebration of play.
We welcome everyone who shares our values and wants to help build a vibrant, inclusive gaming community.
